I won a trip to Jamaica in contest by a local radio station: Star 94.  Vikki Locke and Steve were the DJs that also went on the trip.  I was told it was a Friday to Sunday trip. We arrived just beofre midnight on Friday and our flight home left at 7 am on Sunday.  So basically one day.  I had to provide my SS number and I ended up paying more in taxes for that "free" day and a real trip would have cost (see below).

Weekend getaway with Martha because the guy I was seeing wasn't interested.  I told him I had to celbrate my 50th birthday out of the country.  He suggested a trip to the mountains instead.  Nope, that was not good enough.

For $360 per person (that includes air and airport transfers!) we stayed at the All-inclusive Jack Tar Village Montego Bay for four nights. What a deal!  Food and alcohol included. Except I didn't like the sweet frozen drinks and they claimed they didn't have any Vodka.

So the guy (in Atlanta) calls me at the resort in Jamaica to wish me a Happy Birthday.  He was not aware of the resort phone call prices, so I'm pretty sure that 40 minute phone call cost him more than what I paid for my entire vacation.  He sure missed out!
